Full nite at Jiggs with Evil Dick

My friend Bruce was co-hosting the open mic at Jiggs, and the house keyboard player wasn't feeling well, so I set my equipment up and stayed most of the night. I got to play a few openers with the house band. The next band up asked me to play along, and then I did five numbers with Evil Dick. There were no other keyboard players in the house. The PA and everything else was too loud and the sound was unclear. I think it might have had something to do with the cheap speakers on the PA. Jigg's was severely smoky. Even the next day, I smelled like smoke. If I had brought my accordion it would have hat a coughing fit. As usual, the wings at Jiggs were cheap and excellent. You have to get there by 9 to order from the kitchen. Otherwise, the only hot food is the bar bie, which is actually cokked in a toaster oven under the bar It's actually quite good.
