Late night at Bernie's, Chester N.J. USA

You have to prepared for a late night if you go to the open mic at Bernie's in Chester, N.J. The house band usually doesn't start until 10, and they play a lot, meaning the first act doesn't go on until nearly 11. This time, however, the house band must have started early, beacuse they were almost finishing up when I got there. This may be because they realized that there were a lot of people wanting to play. The first such band was very interesting and well-rehearsed; surprising because it had seven members, so rehearsals must be hard to schedule. I decided to just set up keys and jam with a few of the other groups, although I did play a few songs by myself to kill time when one of the acts was not ready to take the stage when their name was called. I did Wild Horses, and after receiving a request for Pink Floyd did Sheep.
